Growing up I felt first hand the isolation when my dad became disabled due to a brain stroke. I noticed that there were very little resources for children like me, children who have disabled parents. So in 2021 I had the idea to write this book to share my story, bring hope to those that need it and give them support. I wrote this book to show the write side of having a disabled parent. Even if they are not like how they use to be they are still a Superhero! 

Since then I have gone on to do some book reading around Ireland in primary schools and summer camps. I even got the opportunity to go to Bangladesh, in the village my dad is from and read this story to the kids in the local primary school. I hope to keep pursuing this project and do more readings in the future. 

It's time to give this community the voice they deserve!
